"Presented the Ultimate Surfing Sunday" March 28 th, 1999. This was a Fund Raiser for the Surfing Museum: Tickets $ 30.00 ea. Rendezvous Ballroom Reunion at the Hard Rock Cafe Newport Beach, California-Doors Opened at 3:00 PM and the show started at 3:30PM

The Surfaris performed their famous "Wipe Out" contest, winners received "Hollywood RockWalk"collector drum sticks-There were 3 winners that performed on stage with The Surfaris. This was the Ultimate Concert Event" Also Performing were the Following: The Challengers, The Tornadoes, The Lively Ones, The Rhythm Rockers, The Nocturnes, The Crossfires, The Belairs, Plus Many More.

Wow!! It was a day to remember, The Renunion
was Fantastic!                                                  

The Fans were so excited as Dick Dale approaced the stage! The Hard Rock Cafe was packed with over 600 Fans, and more wanted to come in to witness this legendary event.  I could here some of the fans say "Wow its the King of the Surf Guitar and I'm here in person". Once it was announced that Dick Dale was coming up on stage the crowd moved up to the front of the stage and you could almost hear a pin drop. It was like "Elvis"had entered the room!

The Surfaris, The Chantays and others were awesome! "Wipe Out"-"Pipeline" it was the greatest concert.

Jim Pash, Jim Fuller, Jay Truax, Paul Johnson, Jeff Utterman, and Rob Watson, Thank you, The Surfaris for a fantastic concert.

Thanks Fans for this Sold Out Event...... WOW!  I really love the new Audi cars, their design and quality take us into the Twenty-First Century with class.

—At the NAMM Centennial
Celebration in Anaheim, CEO/President Larry Linkin humbly
accepted two of the industry’s greatest honors. On Friday night,
the executive director of VH1’s Save the Music campaign, Bob
Morrison, presented Linkin with the prestigious George Foster
Peabody Award for his extraordinary commitment to the promotion
of music making throughout the world. The following day, National
Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (NARAS)
President/CEO Michael Greene bestowed Link with the NARAS
President’s Merit Award. Only two such honors will be handed out
this year, the other going to legendary songwriter Stephen
Sondheim.

"I am extremely gratified and humbled by these awards," says
Linkin. "However, it is really the efforts of our membership that
have greatly advanced music making and helped to promote its
